Limited Liability Companies- This is the most common type of company registered in the UAE and is mostly recommended where the purpose of is to carry out trade within the UAE. Foreign Investors are allowed to hold up to 49% equity ownership in the UAE Company whereas 51% of the ownership must belong to one or more UAE national. Further no corporate tax or income tax is levied.
Sole Establishment- This type of entity is mostly preferable to professionals, service-related activities and consultancy. 100% foreign ownership is permissible and there is no minimum capital requirement. Again, no corporate tax or income tax is levied. Establishing a civil company allows an investor to open a bank account with ease.
Branch and Representative Office of Foreign Company- Foreign companies can open a Branch or a Representative office in the UAE. These types of companies can be 100% owned by the foreign entity with the appointment of Local service agent.
The different kinds of licenses offered in mainland include:
Commercial License- They are mainly issued for those business concerns that indulge in buying, selling and supplying of goods or those that are into trading.
Industrial License- They are mainly issued for those business concerns that are involved in the manufacturing of goods, like factories and industries etc.

VISA SERVICES

Tourist Visa-
This visa is issued to those persons who wish to enter the country for tourism purposes. Depending on your plan of travel, visit visas can be issued for 30 days or 90 days for single or multi entries. Some of the documents required to issue a tourist visa are:

Family Visa-
This visa is issued for the purposes of sponsoring parents, spouse, and children. Some of the documents required to issue such of visa are:

Remote working visa-
With an intention to attract talents and expertise from all around the globe, the government of UAE has introduced a new remote working visa scheme to enable people to work remotely from the UAE. This visa which is issued for one year all expats to the country and work under self-sponsorship which shall be in connection with the terms and conditions issued with the visa.
10-year golden visa-
In addition to the aforesaid visas, the UAE government has issued a 10-year Golden visa in case you invest least AED 10 million in the public sector and/or if you are a person with a specialized talent, such as a doctor, scientist, inventor, specialist, or of special talent in the field of culture and art.
Retirement visa for UAE residents-
This visa has been introduced by the UAE government wherein retired residents over the age of 55 can get long term residence visas for a period of 5 years. Such visas could be renewed in case the eligibility criterions are met.
Student visa-
This visa is issued to expatriate students who are atleast 18 years of age who is a university or college student studying in the UAE. Further the UAE government has approved to grant a five-year visa to outstanding students who have graduated with a grade of atleast 95% from secondary schools whether private or public and where university students have graduated with a distinctive GPA of atleast 3.75 from universities within and outside the country.

LOCAL SPONSOR ARRANGEMENT
All companies registered as a limited liability company in accordance with the UAE Commercial Companies Regulations can be owned only to the extent of 49% by an expatriate or by a non-UAE national. The remaining share, i.e., 51% must be owned by a UAE national, also known as a local sponsor. A local sponsor or a local service agent may be a person or corporate entity that complies with the regulatory company formation requirements for a non-UAE national who wishes to invest and establish a company in any of the emirate in the UAE.
The different types of sponsorship may include:
Corporate sponsorship-
A corporate sponsorship is one which wherein a UAE national company holds a 51% share in an entity where the remaining 49% is held by one or more person’s being non-UAE nationals. This is the most preferred type of partnership in the UAE.
Individual sponsorship-
An individual sponsorship is one which wherein a UAE national holds a 51% share in an entity where the remaining 49% is held by one or more person’s being non-UAE nationals. Though a UAE national may be the main shareholder in the entity, he or she may execute a Power of Attorney (POA) to the non-UAE national partners in return for a fixed annual fee. This is the most common type of partnership in the United Arab Emirates.
